Summary: "Great battery"

I am very happy with this battery, it arrived faster than expected, in perfect condition, and the power lasts about four hours. Everything was better than I expected.

Summary: "Troubles..."

I received the product and the protective pouch containing the battery had been opened. I charged it fully and tried to use it with my laptop but it kept crashing.

I returned it for a refund as I was not allowed to exchange it.

I am not saying the product is bad or the seller is bad. I think I just got that one in a million that doesn't work as well as the rest.

Great experience with the seller other than that.

Summary: "Best bang for the buck."

Compared to the prices asked by the original manufacturer and/or retail battery shops, this battery offers the best bang for the buck. Actually 1/3 the price offered by HP, this laptop battery gives me nearly 4 hours of continuous usage compared to (MUCH) less than 1 hour with the original battery. I have only been using it for 2 weeks so can't comment on the longevity of the battery but I can say that so far, I am extremely pleased. Highly recommend the seller (BrilliantStore) and their speedy service.

My Compaq C500 would run about 1:30 on the old battery. I got this one for it and it lasts 4 hours running on high performance. As it is high capacity it takes a lot longer to charge it to 100% though.

02.02.10 Unfortunately Brainy Deal shipped the wrong battery so a review of this item is not possible. I returned the battery to them and they have, to date, been receptive in refunding not only purchase price but also postal fees associated with the return. Mistakes happen but their Customer Service Agent/Cathy has more than offset the above inconvenience. I give them "high marks". Rick Berner
